The Swindon Festival of Literature welcomes the launch of Swindon poet Hilda Sheehan’s first collection of poems, The Night My Sister Went to Hollywood published by Cultured Llama.

Poet Martin Malone will host the evening and Hilda will read some selected poems.

There will also be readings from guest poet William Bedford from his book Collecting Bottle Tops published by Poetry Salzburg.

Visual and poetic surprises by Jill Carter and Hilda Sheehan.

Also, some of the music of Chopin and romantic pieces of Rachmaninov played by Belgian pianist Dorothea Van De Velde.
