Save As Writers are offering two days of creative writing workshops during the Canterbury Festival. The first of these is on 19 October 2013.
Please note that all of these workshops are now full, and for those booked, the venue has changed to the Jolly Sailor.
The day runs from 11.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with workshops on:
Shaping Up Your Stories – how to progress from baggy first draft to shapely short fiction with Maria C. McCarthy, 11.30 – 1.30
Writing a Novel – from idea to edit with Sonia Overall, 2.00 – 4.00 pm
Life Writing – truth, fiction and style with Maggie Harris, 4.00 – 6.00 pm.
Maria C. McCarthy is the author of strange fruits, and her collection of short stories As Long As it Takes is forthcoming from Cultured Llama in March 2013.
Maggie Harris is author of Canterbury Tales on a Cockcrow Morning.
Each workshop is bookable individually at £6 per workshop, or there is a discount for attending all three workshops – £15 for all day. More details here.
