Park Farm Community Orchard, Lynsted will be hosting a Poetry Tent at their Cherry Day event on the afternoon of 19 July 2014. Several poets will be reading, including Maria C McCarthy, Mark Holihan, Melanie Benn and Fiona Sinclair. There will be acoustic music from Sienna-Janae Holihan and Bob Carling.
This is a great community event in an orchard were the trees will be dripping with cherries – pick your own or buy a filled punnet; have a cream tea or a drink from the beer tent; be entertained by the Doddington Ukelele Movement and others.
The Poetry Tent will have two half-hour slots during the afternoon.
