Poets David Cooke and Fiona Sinclair praise Bethany W. Pope’s debut poetry collection A Radiance in reviews on poetry e-zines Message in a Bottle and Ink, Sweat and Tears.

David Cooke reviews A Radiance on Message in a Bottle: ‘sinuous, sustained and full of savour, Pope’s verse draws us into the lives of the characters in the American Deep South and creates a world that is convincing and utterly engrossing.’ Read the full review here.

Fiona Sinclair reviews the book on Ink, Sweat and Tears: ‘There are rich characters studies in the collection. Pope much like a novelist concentrates on building and then developing the characters throughout the work.’ Read the full review here.

Bethany W. Pope will be launching A Radiance at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on 25 October 2012. See the Events page for more details. Buy your copy of A Radiance here.
